The China-India-Russia trilateral interaction is of very good prospect, Krishnan Raghunath, Indian Ambassador to Russia said to ITAR-TASS on February 21.

The China-India-Russia trilateral interaction is of very good prospect, Krishnan Raghunath, Indian Ambassador to Russia said to ITAR-TASS on February 21. He pointed out that Moscow-Beijing-New Delhi are developing a triangular format that evolves from non-governmental exchanges to high-ranking official contacts and is able to discuss issues of common concern. Currently there are a wide range of issues of common concern among the three countries, such as global and regional security, international terrorism and drug trafficking, the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and so on.

At the UN General Assembly last year, Raghunath said, foreign ministers from the three countries made great contribution to the deepening of the trilateral format when they met in New York. A meeting of the same style is going to be held in New York this year and the progress will be made in this aspect. Besides, reports say Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov revealed to Russia media not long ago that he would soon chair a trilateral meeting of the three foreign ministers in Moscow.
