CPPCC ready for coming annual session

The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) is prepared for its coming annual session, said CPPCC Chairman Jia Qinglin on Friday.

The National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) is prepared for its coming annual session, said CPPCC Chairman Jia Qinglin on Friday.

Jia made the remark at the tenth meeting of the chairman and chairpersons of the Tenth National Committee of the CPPCC.

The meeting passed the list of executive chairpersons of each plenary meeting during the annual session, scheduled to open on March 3.

The annual sessions of the National People's Congress (NPC), China's top legislative body, and CPPCC, a broad-based national advisory organization, draw much attention from the press at home and abroad every year.
