Chinese skiers settle for third at Aerials World Cup
Chinese Qiu Sen came in third in World Cup aerials event at the Longzhu slopes in Heilongjiang province, Northeastern China on Feb. 15.

Chinese Qiu Sen came in third in World Cup aerials event at the Longzhu slopes in
Heilongjiang
province, Northeastern China on Feb. 15.
Qiu finished on a score of 233.61, while Steve Omischl of
Canada
ranked first with 246.71, and Joe Pack of the
United States
second with 237.68. All three men completed quadruple twisting triple somersaults.
Omischl leads the overall standings of men's aerials with 738 points, followed by Belorussians Dmitri Dashinski with 612 points, and Alexei Grichin with 419.
Olympic champion Alisa Camplin of
Australia
held on her overall lead in women's competition with 768 points despite finishing third in Sunday's event.
Her compatriot Lydia Ierodiaconou placed first winning 193.82 points. Anna Zukal of
Russia
came second with 177.29, followed by Camplin with a score of 172.70.
Wang Jiao of China was fourth with 164.18, followed by countrywoman Song Shuyao in fifth place with 161.34.
