Chinese president leaves Gabon for Algeria
Winding up a three-day state visit to Gabon, Chinese President Hu Jintao left here Tuesday for Algeria.

During his visit to Gabon, President Hu held talks with his Gabonese counterpart El Hadj Omar Bongo Ondimba. They reached broad consensus on bilateral ties, the situation in Africa and other issues of common concern.
Addressing the Gabonese National Assembly on Monday, Hu put forward a three-point proposal for deepening China-Africa cooperation and promoting common development under new circumstances.
The Chinese and Gabonese sides also issued a joint communique and signed three cooperation documents, including one on economic and technological cooperation.
The Chinese president arrived here Sunday for the state visit, the first trip to the African nation by a Chinese head of state in three decades.
Gabon is the third stop of Hu's current four-nation tour. He had visited
