The Queen Mary 2, the world's largest passenger ship, has completed its maiden trans-Atlantic voyage, arriving at a Florida port.

The cruise lasted two weeks after the ship left the English port of Southampton.

Around 2,600 passengers paid anywhere from about US $2,800 to US $37,500 for the first trip.

The $800 million ocean liner sets a number of records for passenger vessels including being the largest, longest, tallest, widest and most expensive.
