A group of Chinese scientists has developed a urine test that can diagnose bladder cancer more conveniently.
The group is headed by Shen Zhoujun, a surgery professor with the No.1 Hospital attached to
Zhejiang
University's medical college. They have found a protein in urine, which is closely related to bladder cancer.
Based on the test, doctors can diagnose bladder cancer and findthe best way to cure the disease.
To date, the research has been used at clinics in several hospitals in east China's Zhejiang Province.
