Indian, Pakistani FMs to resume dialogue next month
The Indian External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha on Saturday telephoned his Pakistani counterpart Khurshid M. Kasuri, and resolved to go ahead with the dialogue, planned for February, Pakistani Foreign Office said.

"The two Foreign Ministers reaffirmed the need to start the composite dialogue process between Pakistan and India to discuss all issues, including Jammu and Kashmir, in accordance with the decision taken by the President of Pakistan and the Prime Minister of India in their meeting on January 5, 2004," according to a statement of Foreign Office issued here on Saturday.
"The two Foreign Ministers reiterated that the composite dialogue process would start in February this year." They agreed that modalities for the process would be worked out through diplomatic channels, it said.
Sinha congratulated Pakistan over the success of the 12th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Summit.
He thanked the government of Pakistan for the hospitality and courtesies extended to the Indian delegation during the SAARC Summit.
The telephone conversation between the two Foreign Ministers was warm and cordial, the statement said.
