The China women's national football team players are required to study English in their spare time. A "one on one" activity invites some English majors to help players learn the basics of the language.

The China women's national football team players are required to study English in their spare time. A "one on one" activity invites some English majors to help players learn the basics of the language.

Head coach Zhang Haitao--who speaks excellent English--thinks it will help his players communicate better when abroad, especially in international soccer matches.

The coach is devoting himself to the rejuvenation of the team in the hope of reaching the same high levels of success the team is accustomed to.
