Zhang, singles runner-up at the World Championships in Paris last May and silver medalist at ITTF Grand Finals last December, got her injury on Tuesday during a training session.
She was sent to a local hospital and the X-ray tests showed that her tailbone was slightly broken.
Liu Tianlu, the doctor of the national team, revealed that Zhang has the chronical injury on tailbone but the new injury will not affect her attendance at the coming World Championships in Doha,
