An Indian special representative will visit China this month to discuss the boundary issue with the Chinese representative, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Kong Quan Tuesday.

Kong hoped the two sides could discuss the framework of resolving the boundary question in line with the consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries.

Such details as the theme and agenda of the meeting are still under discussion, he added.

Chinese special representative Dai Bingguo and his Indian counterpart Brajesh Mishra had a two-day meeting in New Delhi on Oct. 23 and 24 last year to discuss the issue.
