An official of Islamic resistance movement Hamas admitted Tuesday that his movement was in contact with the US administration.
Mohamad Nazal, a speaker of Hamas outside the Palestinian territories, said in a statement released on the website of the movement that Hamas had contacted the US officials.
He didn't provide further details.
Hamas doesn't oppose contacts with the US administration, Nazal said, adding that his movement "has always opened its doors to all the popular and official sides, except for the Zionists."
Meanwhile, Zanal denied reports that Hamas had held talks with the US officials under Qatari sponsorship and reached agreement which called on ending the Hamas attacks inside Israel in exchange for removing the movement from the list of terrorist organizations.
