Chinese soccer team gathers in Hainan
The Chinese soccer team has gathered in the southern island province of Hainan for a 50-day training camp in preparation for the qualifying matches of the 2006 World Cup.
The Chinese soccer team has gathered in the southern island province of Hainan for a 50-day training camp in preparation for the qualifying matches of the 2006 World Cup.
Head coach of Chinese team Arie Haan will participate in the camp after January 5th, as he is currently observing rival-team Kuwait.
Kuwait will be China's first major hurdle on their way to the 2006 World Cup, and their first match will begin on February 18th in Guangzhou.
Prior to that, the Chinese team will have two warm-up matches with Slovakia and Finland on February 4th and 7th respetively.
