Renowned Taiwan entrepreneur appeals for 'All Direct Links'
Renowned Taiwan entrepreneur Wang Yongqing appealed via the Taiwan media that both sides across the Taiwan Straits should not only promote the "Three Direct Links", but also expand ties to connect "All Direct Links."
When receiving an interview by the reporter recently Wang Yung-Ching, the famous entrepreneur in Taiwan once again expressed his view on the relations across the Taiwan Straits.
Now it's too late to talk about the "' 'three links across the Taiwan Straits". The two sides need not only "three links" but further to have "all links", said Wang Yung-Ching. After the Taiwan "election" this year, the new authority should immediately release the bindings in order to let the relations across the straits enter into a stage for full and normal development.
This is the first time for Wang Yung-Ching to air his view on the relations across the Taiwan Straits before the Taiwan "election". He holds, education in Taiwan has been popularized and Taiwan has rich experiences in doing business and has capital too. Now it's the most opportune time for Taiwan to bring its superiority into full play and it should avail of the advantage to get a place in the Chinese mainland. What on earth is that "no haste"? Who should be patient? The word is all right should it be out from their mouths (referring to the Chinese mainland)!"
In regard with the question of "public poll" of popular concern Wang Yung-Ching shock his head repeatedly and said "it's no good for me to put it out. You can think it over. Is it necessary? Public poll, public poll, what is there to poll? It's only too much eating and has nothing to do."
Wang Yung-Ching, 88 years of age is ready to build a new empire of Taiwan Plastic Group in the Chinese mainland market and one of the important jobs is to put up 10,000 primary schools by investing some 200 million new Taiwan dollar. The newest blueprint of his in the Chinese mainland as he revealed is to put up hope primary schools in the rural backward areas in 31 provinces and regions. With every school to enroll 200 pupils only this means to cultivate some 2 million pupils. With the profit he gained from his investment to Zhangzhou Power Plant some 13 years ago he would like to return it to the next generation in the Chinese mainland. In this way he's going to express his triumphant result by making a present to the education in the Chinese mainland by way of a deep plough.
