Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao left Addis Ababa for Beijing on Tuesday afternoon after his official visit to Ethiopia.
Wen attended the opening ceremony of the Second Ministerial Conference of the China-Africa Cooperation Forum, delivering a speech titled "Let Us Build on Our Past Achievements and Promote China-Africa Friendly Cooperation on All Fronts."
During his official visit to Ethiopia, the Chinese premier met with Ethiopian Prime Minister Meles Zenawi and President Girma Wolde Giorgis.
Wen also met separately with leaders from some African countries including Mozambique, the Sudan, the Republic of the Congo, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
Before his departure from Addis Ababa, Wen unveiled a sculpturecommemorating the China-Africa Cooperation Forum with Meles Zenawi.
Ethiopia is the fourth and last stop of Wen's visit on Dec. 7-16. The Chinese premier also paid official visits to the United States, Canada and Mexico.
