South Korea nailed their second win by beating China 1-0 in the East Asian soccer championship Sunday in Saitama.
The lone goal came in first-half injury time as South Korean skipper Yoo Sang-Chul headed the ball past Chinese keeper Liu Yunfei.
"The Chinese team was well organized, but we controlled the game, we scored, so we deserve to the win," said South Korea's Portuguese coach Humberto Coelho.
On the first day Thursday in Tokyo, South Korea beat Hong Kong of China 3-1, while China lost to Japan 2-0.
