China continues moon-exploration satellite development

The development for China's first Moon-exploration satellite "Chang'e I" is progressing on schedule. The exploration route has now been determined.

The development for China's first Moon-exploration satellite "Chang'e I" is progressing on schedule. The exploration route has now been determined.

Experts noted that there were no insurmountable problems during the course of research and development, and they will make full use of existing mature techniques.

China plans to launch the lunar probe in next three years. It will study the geology, soil, environment and resources of the moon.
