Beijing's exports hit US$5.83 billion in first 10 months
The national capital Beijing registered 5.83 billion US dollars in exports in the first 10 months this year, up 26.7 percent over the same period of last year, the latest statistics show.

According to Beijing Customs, electro-mechanical products, high-tech products, clothing and farm produce were the major export commodities of Beijing.
Beijing exported electro-mechanical products worth 3.77 billion US dollars in the January-October period, a rise of 32.1 percent on a yearly basis. The city's exports of high-tech products was valued at 2.63 billion US dollars, up 35 percent over last year's corresponding period.
Beijing exported 2.41 billion US dollars of IT products, such as mobile phones, software and integrated circuits, in the first 10 months, an increase of 37.7 percent year on year.
IT product export accounted for 41.3 percent of Beijing's total export for the 10-month period, which was 16.7 percentage points higher than the national average.
