Auto expected to be first big sponsors for Beijing Olympics 2008
Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the 29th Olympiad (BOCOG) issued its ��Call for Expression of Interests from Partners (Automobile) for Beijing Olympics 2008�� on Nov. 18. This means that the sponsorship program as part of Beijing Olympics market tapping efforts has entered into the stage of practical operation.

As learned that eligible corporate candidates are expected to be Chinese and/or foreign funded auto enterprises interested in the partnership. It is desirable that corporate applicants be capable of offering sufficient capital, transportation, and related services to Beijing Olympics 2008, BOCOG, Winter Olympics 2006, Chinese Sports Group for 2008 Olympics, and Olympics for Disabled Beijing 2008. They are also expected to be able to build up good image, business reputation, and strong power in finance, technology, and service.

Actually the auto industry is one of the first resources to which BOCOG opens partnership possibilities. Invitations for the sponsorship also go to fixed communication and mobile communication operations and banking business as well.
