Japan, Chinese Taipei qualify for baseball tournament of Athens Olympics
Japan defeated South Korea 2-0 to finish atop the Asian baseball championships in Sapporo, Japan on Friday.

Japan
defeated South Korea 2-0 to finish atop the Asian baseball championships in Sapporo, Japan on Friday.
Japan, who ended the four-team round robin with three wins against no defeat, qualified for the Athens Olympic Games next year.
Runners-up Chinese Taipei also booked a berth at the Athens Olympics with a 2-1 win-loss record.
South Korea finished third 1-2, ahead of winless China at the bottom.
