Clumsy fraud, harmful heresy: PD commentary

The anti-mankind, anti-society and anti-science practice under the name of science, may deceive some people within a certain period of time, but someday it will inevitably be brought to light. "Falun Gong" will not, in the final analysis, change its heretic nature under whatever signboard and in whatever cloak, still less save the cult of "Falun Gong" from its doom.

Jing Zhanyi, a senior engineer long been engaged in research on iron and steel production technology, had researched and set forth two items of iron and steel smelting technology in 1994. Two years later in 1996, he began the practice of "Falun Gong" and became a pawn of Li Hongzhi for deceiving society and harming people's lives.

Li Hongzhi, skilled in accumulating wealth by foul means, exceptionally took out several thousand yuan from his pocket for Jing Zhanyi to apply for patent. The two persons instantly became friends and staged a deceitful farce. The two men were well aware that the two items of patented technology were accomplished before Jing Zhanyi started the practice of "Falun Gong", however, Li Hongzhi let Jing Zhanyi "make reports" everywhere, boasting that he opened the "eyes of heaven" after only one month practice of "Falun Gong", and he could observe the chemical reaction of molten iron in the steel-making furnace at a high temperature of over 1,000 degrees C, that Jing Zhanyi's patent was gained through the practice of "Falun Gong", etc. This is a typical heretic fraud.

This fantastic farce inspired and directed by Li Hongzhi under the pretense of so-called Jing Zhanyi's "personal experience", has confused some people and cheated a large group of people into superstitiously believing in "Falun Gong". Jing Zhanyi was only a clown used by Li Hongzhi in this farce. Even Li Hongzhi's faithful followers had to admit that "Jing Zhanyi's patent is "unrelated with 'Falun Dafa (abhidharma)'", it was only Li's intention to make use of him". "Li Hongzhi's use of Jing Zhanyi is an attempt to usurp 'science' to prove so-called mystery of the 'Falun Dafa'".

Jing Zhanyi, obsessed by ghosts and being willingly used, preached the absurd "Falun Gong" theory in accordance with Li Hongzhi's order. He himself was a victim, later he used the same theory to deceive others, this is the lamentable and pitiable spot of Jing Zhanyi, as well as the detestable and shameful points of Li Hongzhi.

Li Hongzhi adopts an attitude of hating and "loving" science, Li's hating science is a matter of course, because science is a powerful weapon against all shapes of heresy. To peddle the "Falun Dafa" he invented, Li Hongzhi must first remove the stumbling block of science. That's why he claimed, "Science is heresy." "Science has caused the corruption of human morality." Li Hongzhi "loves" science against his will, because he wants to varnish his absurd theory under the signboard of science. So, he wants to use Jing's patented invention to prove the miracle of "Falun Gong", letting others believe that Jing Zhanyi had "unusual capability" only after he began the practice of "Falun Gong". In attempting to use "science" to "prove" his "unusual capability", Li Hongzhi said, "The Chinese Academy of Sciences determines my energy, when measuring my energy, the said academy finds out that my energy is 140-170 times (higher than the normal radiological amount of substance). Li Hongzhi often cited numerous "scientific instances" to prove that his own absurd theory is scientific. But all the instances he cited were beyond scientific tests and verifications. Only Jing Zhanyi patented invention could be used as fraudulence and to serve Li's purpose.

The Jing Zhanyi incident is not an isolated deceitful event. Deceiving people under the name of science and advertising the fallacy has been and now remains an important means used by Li Hongzhi to exercise spiritual control over "Falun Gong" practitioners.

Jing Zhanyi's use of application for patent to "promote Fa (dharma)" was aimed to deceive some people ignorant of the real situation and to make them more obsessed with "Falun Gong", some people are still on the wrong path today. This is precisely the sinister political aim of Li Hongzhi. By making use of Jing Zhanyi, Li Hongzhi did have hoodwinked many people, including even a small number of people in the scientific, technological and intellectual circles. Nevertheless, even Li Hongzhi, the self-styled "biggest God", who claims that "there would be no universe without me" and who could arrange everything, big or small, in the universe, cannot cover up the fact of his fooling people This can be proved by the time of Jing Zhanyi's invention; and by instances of scientific inventions made since ancient times.

From the perspective of the historical development of humankind, all scientific inventions were built on the basis of human beings' observation, experiment and rational analysis of things, there has never been heard of and there can't be a scientific invention that is achieved through the practice of "Falun Gong" or by opening "the eyes of heaven"

The Jing Zhanyi incident serves as a warning to us: The anti-mankind, anti-society and anti-science practice under the name of science, may deceive some people within a certain period of time, but someday it will inevitably be brought to light. "Falun Gong" will not, in the final analysis, change its heretic nature under whatever signboard and in whatever cloak, still less save the cult of "Falun Gong" from its doom..
