Musharraf arrives in Beijing for state visit

Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf arrived in Beijing Monday afternoon for a three-day state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao.

Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf arrived in Beijing Monday afternoon for a three-day state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Hu Jintao.

Musharraf is expected to exchange views with Chinese leaders on Pakistan-China relations and regional and international issues of common concern, according to sources with the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Previously Musharraf attended the Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2003, which opened in China's southernmost province of Hainan Sunday.
