Tajikistan highlights Boao Forum's role in promoting regional economic integration
Tajikistan places importance on the role played by the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) in promoting regional economic exchange and cooperation and vows to push forward regional economic integration, a Tajikistan diplomat said here Friday.

Tajikistan Ambassador to China Bokhadyr Najmidinovich Abdoullaev told Xinhua that his country will take measures to enhance cooperation in all fields among Asian countries.
Tajikistan President Emomali Sharipovich Rakhmonov is scheduled to address the BFA to be held here beginning Sunday, which is the first high-level international forum organized by Asian nations aimed at increasing exchanges and cooperation among Asian countries and between Asia and the rest of the world.
The BFA offered a rare opportunity for the politicians, scholars and business people to discuss major issues concerning the economy and social and human development, Abdoullaev said.
Tajikistan and China also share great potential in cooperation,the ambassador said, naming mineral exploration, light industry, food, cotton processing, telecommunication, tourism, water and solar and wind energy as the major areas.
The two countries are striving to build a more smooth communication system and that is important to facilitate trade within Asia and with other regions as well, Abdoullaev said.
