China-India meeting on boundary questions ends

Special representatives of the Governments of India and China on the boundary question, Brajesh Mishra and Dai Bingguo, ended their first meeting in New Delhi on Friday.

Special representatives of the Governments of India and China on the boundary question, Brajesh Mishra and Dai Bingguo, ended their first meeting in New Delhi on Friday.

The two-day meeting was held in a cordial, constructive and cooperative atmosphere, according to a spokesman of the Chinese delegation.

They agreed to meet again on mutually acceptable dates in Beijing.

Dai also held a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and External Affairs Minister Yashwant Sinha.
