China hit a pair of two-run shots to make it 4-0 in the first inning and repeated the feat in the second.

Lagging 8-0, the Czech Republic, who lost to Australia early onTuesday, tried to catch up in the third, when they scored a go-ahead run by Lenka Jaklova and successfully blanked China in the inning.

But China restored in the fourth and final inning and scored three points to conclude the match 11-1.

"I am disappointed by the results, we have lost three matches, its frustrating.

But we will try to stay as long as we can in thetournament," said the Czech team manager Martin Brummel.

China won both matches in the championship, but head coach Liu said that the real hard time had not yet come.

Our first four matches in the tournament are just preparations forclashes with these two teams," Liu added. (Xinhua)
