Companies in the telecommunication, banking, pharmaceutical and auto manufacturing industries have shown interest in becoming Beijing's partners for the 2008 Olympic Games.

Companies in the telecommunication, banking, pharmaceutical and auto manufacturing industries have shown interest in becoming Beijing's partners for the 2008 Olympic Games.

The Beijing Olympic Committee says partners must have a good corporate image and strong financial backup.

In order to maximize its choices and variety, the organizing committee will not limit the number of partners, and what is expected of companies from different industries varies.
