Airbus promotes A380 in China
"China is one of the biggest aviation markets in the world, so it definitely needs the biggest aircraft," said Rossella Daverio, senior vice president of Airbus public relations department.
"China is one of the biggest aviation markets in the world, so it definitely needs the biggest aircraft," said Rossella Daverio, senior vice president of Airbus public relations department.
Since she took office last year, Daverio has devised a public relations strategy in order to promote A380 aircraft.
She said the aircraft will be convenient enough to transfer athletes, tourists, fans and business people to China during the Beijing Olympic Games.
With 555 seats, the jumbo aircraft has become a focus in globalaviation market. It is believed to be more economic, more comfortable, and with more capacity.
Since the aircraft was favored by this year's Paris aviation show, Daverio also wanted it to be a success at the Beijing International Aviation Exposition.
"We invested 80 million US dollars building a world-advanced training and supporting center in Beijing, which indicated we not only considered China as an export market, but also are committed to China's long-term aviation development," she said.
