HK woman under suspicion of having SARS

A Hong Kong woman suspected with Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) was admitted into a local hospital on Monday, according to a television report.

A Hong Kong woman suspected with Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) was admitted into a local hospital on Monday, according to a television report.

The woman, 34, was sent to Margaret Hospital by Hong Kong's medical authorities under the suspicion that she might be affectedby SARS, local ATV Jade reported.

The television said, the female patient accepted medical check after she had flu, fever and breath difficulties.

A medical official was quoted as saying by the television that her case was not confirmed.
