CHITEC to Offer Beijing Olympic Business Opportunities

The construction of four major sports venues including the National Stadium will officially start by the end of this year BOGOC will make preparations for establishing a working organization for preliminary football matches in Tianjin and other three cities and sign agreements with the relevant cities. Liu said with the start of the Olympic Marketing Development Plans, BOGOC is conducting negotiations with domestic and overseas enterprises and will determine the Olympic collaborators and supporters in a relatively short time. Also, BOGOC is scheduled to put forward domestic chartered operations next year.
Meanwhile, "Beijing-Taiwan Science and Technology Seminar" held at the International Hotel takes the first place in offering the Olympic business opportunities. Jiang Xiaoyu, vice chairman of BOGOC said, BOGOC plans to select about ten collaborators at the fourth quarterly of this year. They mainly deal with banking, chemical industry, auto industry, communication, telecommunication and other sectors. He said, the collaborators and number of collaborators for Beijing 2008 Olympic Games will be approved by the International Olympic Committee and the focal point of next step is to specify Olympic collaborators and the number of collaborators.
In addition, the ongoing CHITEC offers for the first time a collection of business projects, which are divided into two exhibition areas, namely "Digital Olympics" and "Scientific and Technological Olympics". Both highlight the high-tech role in Olympic organizations and Olympic construction. Urban infrastructure projects seek global investment.
