Deng Pufang Re-elected CDPF Chairman
The Fourth Congress of the China Disabled Persons' Federation (CDPF) was concluded Wednesday in Beijing, with Deng Pufang, the elder son of late Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping, re-elected chairman of the organization.

Li Ruihuan, a former member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and the former chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), was once again nominated as its honorary chairman.
Vice-Premier Hui Liangyu addressed the closing of the congress. He spoke highly of the achievements made by the CDPF in recent years.
Li Mingyu, Gan Bailin, Ding You, Zhang Haidi, Wang Tiecheng, Zhang Mingyuan, Wang Xinxian, and Tang Xiaoquan was elected vice chairpersons of the CDPF. Tang was, concurrently, elected president of the Executive Council of the CDPF.
