Hamas Claims Responsibility for Two Suicide Bombings in Israel

The Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas has claimed responsibility for both suicide bombing attacks in Israel on Tuesday, Israel Radio reported.

The Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas has claimed responsibility for both suicide bombing attacks in Israel on Tuesday, Israel Radio reported.

A suicide bomber blew himself up at about 11:20 p.m. (2020 GMT)Tuesday in downtown western Jerusalem, killing at least five andwounding some 40, the police at scene said.

Another blast occurred just before 6 p.m. (1500 GMT) Tuesday ata crowded bus stop in Rishon Letzion, near Tel Aviv in centralcoastal Israel, killing at least seven and wounding some 15 people,10 of them seriously.
