Poll Shows New Yorkers Fear Another Attack, Dissatisfied with Leaders
Two years after the Sept. 11 attacks, most New Yorkers are worried about another terrorist strike on the city and are disenchanted with their leaders, according to a new poll by the Daily News.

Eighty-six percent of city residents said they would not be surprised by another attack. Twenty-five percent said they think another attack was likely soon, while 61 percent said the threat has subsided but an attack is still possible.
Also according to the poll, 56 percent of city residents disapprove of President George Bush's handling of the war on terrorism a rise from 42 percent in a similar survey last year.
Only 33 percent of New Yorkers approve of the job their mayor Michael Bloomberg is doing, with 52 percent disapproving. Asked about the 2005 election, 19 percent said they would vote to re-elect Bloomberg, 57 percent would vote for his Democratic opponent and 24 percent said they have not decided yet.
The poll, which surveyed 509 New Yorkers, has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.5 percent.
