Chinese Strong Woman Surpasses Weight Lifting World Records

Chinese strong woman Li Zhuo surpassed a pair of weightlifting world records at the on-going national weightlifting championships being opened Tuesday in Shijiazhuang.

Chinese strongwoman LiZhuo surpassed a pair of weightlifting world records at the on-going national weightlifting championships being opened Tuesday in Shijiazhuang.

In the women's 48kg category, Li Zhuo, who tied the world mark of 92.5kg in snatch, jerked up 117.5kg and 120kg in the process tobeat the world mark of 115.5kg for a total of 212.5kg, which also surpass the original record of 207.5kg.

The national championships has been skipped by the majority members of the national squad who are preparing for both the Asianchampionships and the national city games.
