Indonesian Magnate Describes China as Ideal Investment Destination

China is a good investment destination for Indonesia, said Tang Tay Kang, president of Chinese chamber of commerce of Indonesia here Wednesday.

China is a good investment destination for Indonesia, said Tang Tay Kang, president of Chinese chamber of commerce of Indonesia here Wednesday.

Tang, Indonesian financial tycoon who came to China attending the 11th Kunming export commodities trade fair, said China, with apopulation of 1.3 billion, formed a huge market with a favorable environment for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations with which the Chinese government has increased its cooperation in recent years.

He expressed his hope that Indonesia and China will enhance cooperation on the bases of mutual benefits.

The Kunming export commodities trade fair, an annual event since 1993, opened in Kunming, capital of southwest China's YunnanProvince Tuesday.
