Thai Princess to Boost Sino-Thai Economic, Cultural Exchange

Sino-Thai economic and cultural exchanges should be boosted, said Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn during her visit to east China's Jiangxi Province.

Sino-Thai economic and cultural exchanges should be boosted, said Thai Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn during her visit to east China's Jiangxi Province.

The princess spoke on Aug. 23 in a meeting with Huang Zhiquan, governor of Jiangxi Province.

Briefing the Thai Princess about the local situation and economic development of Jiangxi, Huang Zhiquan expressed his hope of marketing the Lushan Mountain, ceramic crafts and enterprises in Thailand.

The Thai Princess said Thai Ambassador Don Pramudwinai would visit Jiangxi Province in a e month to arrange economic and cultural exchanges.

During her Jiangxi tour between Aug. 20-26, the Thai Princess visited Lushan Mountain, Nanchang City, Jinggangshan City and Jingdezhen City. She showed special interest in Chinese traditional ceramic crafts.

The Thai Princess ended her Jiangxi tour on Aug. 26. This was her 16th visit to China.
