Seven more Chinese victims of Japanese chemical weapons were discharged from the No. 203 Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Thursday.

Three others left the hospital earlier this week.

All the ten were affected by mustard gas abandoned by Japanese troops during Japanese aggression against China (1937-1945).

The victims' symptoms may recur, but they have already made an agreement with the Qiqihar City Government and the hospital, whichensures that they will be provided with treatment in the future asneeded, said Sun Jinghai, the director of the hospital.

The chemical weapons, discovered on Aug. 4 at a construction site in this city in northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, werestored in five metal barrels, one of which was accidentally broken, releasing an oil-like substance into the soil.

There are still 33 mustard gas victims in the hospital. One of them is in critical condition, Sun said.
