Chinese PLA Military Delegation Leaves for DPRK Visit

A high-level military delegation from the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) left Beijing Monday morning for an official, goodwill visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) as guests of Jo Myongrok, first deputy chairman of the DPRK Defense Commission and director-general of the Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army.

A high-level military delegation from the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) left here Monday morning for an official, goodwill visit to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) as guests of Jo Myongrok, first deputy chairman of the DPRK Defense Commission and director-general of the Political Bureau of the Korean People's Army.

The high-level Chinese military delegation is led by General XuCaihou, a member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, a member of the Central Military Commission and director of the PLA General Political Department.

General Xu's current visit is the reciprocal visit to Jo's April China tour.
