Israel's Pullout from Four Cities is Partition to Roadmap: Arafat

Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat said on Sunday that the Israeli decision to gradually pull out from four West Bank cities is a partition to the implementation of the US-backed roadmap peace plan.
Arafat told reporters at his office in the West Bank town of Ramallah that the Israeli gradual pullout from four West Bank towns is a revealed attempt to divide the roadmap peace plan and overcome the necessity of implementing it.
The Israeli side is aught to do is to accurately implement the text of the roadmap, instead if wasting the time, Arafat said.He recalled that the Palestinians had agreed with Israelis on the pullout from Gaza and the West Bank towns of Bethlehem and Hebron first, but instead of withdrawing from Hebron, they are building up new military posts in the heart of Hebron.
This is a breaching to Oslo and Hebron agreements as well as to the roadmap peace plan, Arafat denounced, adding the action means Israel withdrew from a tiny part of Palestinian territory while keeping suffocating siege imposed and roadblocks erected.
Every time the Israelis talk about pullout, suddenly the number of roadblocks and checkpoints is increasing, Arafat said.Arafat condemned the Israeli continuation of building the security separation wall, saying that building the wall and more settlements could never serve peace.
