China Willing to Make Six-party Nuclear Talks Successful: Chinese FM
China is willing to cooperate with concerning countries to make the Beijing six-party talks on the DPRK nuclear issue successful, said Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing Thursday.

Li made this remarks during meeting with South Korean President Roh Moo-hyun at the Presidential Office.
Li said China values highly persistent peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula. "China and South Korea have common interestsin solving the nuclear issue of Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) peacefully through dialogue," said Li.
"The successful startup and continuance of the six-party nuclear talks tally with the interests of every concerning parties," pointed out Li.
"Although there will be some difficulty and sinuosity for the complexity of the issue, China still will make patient efforts with other nations, thus to make the forthcoming six-party meetinga successful one."
China and South Korea both announced earlier Thursday that the talks involving the DPRK, the United State, China, South Korea, Japan and Russia will be held in Beijing on Aug. 27-29.
"China welcomes the South Korea's attendance in the meeting, and hopes Seoul play active and constructive role," Li said to RohMoo-hyun.
Roh thanked the mediation of Chinese government aiming to procure an end of the nuclear dispute, saying "South Korea will make close cooperation with China in the frame of the six-party talks, try to resolve the nuclear issue through peacefully means."
Li also met South Korean Unification Minister Jeong Se-hyun Thursday. After his three-day visit in South Korea, he will go home on Friday.
