Chinese Women's Ninth National Congress to Be Held in Late August

The Chinese Women's Ninth National Congress, held every five years, is to be held from August 22-26, and all preparatory work for the congress is in full swing, the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) announced on Wednesday.

The Chinese Women's Ninth National Congress, held every five years, is to be held from August 22-26, and all preparatory work for the congress is in full swing, the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) announced on Wednesday.

According to the federation, the main agenda of the congress will include, among others, a hearing and deliberation of the workreport of the Eighth Executive Committee of the ACWF, examining and adopting the federation's constitution (amendment), and electing the Ninth ACWF Executive Committee.
