Sino-US Export Control Seminar Slated for September

A seminar on export control in China and the United States will be held in Shanghai from Sept. 17to 18, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said here Wednesday.

A seminar on export control in China and the United States will be held in Shanghai from Sept. 17to 18, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce said here Wednesday.

The seminar, co-hosted by China's Ministry of Commerce and the US Department of Commerce, is aimed at introducing the policies, regulations and export-control practices of the two countries to Chinese and US enterprises.

Officials from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Commission of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, General Administration of Customs, and experts on anti-proliferation and export control will attend the seminar, along with officials and experts with the US Department of Commerce and Embassy to China.
