China's State Post on Saturday issued a set of two stamps marking the 100th anniversary of human flight.
The two commemorative stamps include one with a face value of 80 cents (about 10 US Cents) with an image of a Chinese-made fighter, and another one with a face value of 2.2 yuan (26 US Cents).
A ceremony was held on Saturday in Xi'an, capital of northeast China's Shaanxi Province, which is also known as China's airplane manufacturing center.
A spokesperson for China's State Post Bureau said a total of 9.4 million copies of the 80 cent stamp have been printed and 8.7 million copies for the other stamp.
The first powered and controllable airplane flew on Dec. 17 1903, in the United States.
