The Russian edition of the book "My Father Deng Xiaoping -- Years in Cultural Revolution" (1966-1976) was issued in Moscow on Tuesday.
Xiao Rong, the youngest daughter of the Chinese late leader andthe author of the book, attended the presentation ceremony.
This is the second book written by Xiao Rong about Deng Xiaoping.
During the ceremony, Xiao Rong said as a deputy chairwoman of the China Association for International Friendly Contacts and deputy chairwoman of the Sino-Russian Committee for Friendship, Peace and Development, she will make more efforts to promote the development of the Russian-Chinese strategic partnership.
Chinese Ambassador to Russia Zhang Deguang expressed the hope that the publication of the book would help deepen mutual understanding and trust between the Chinese and Russian peoples, and strengthen bilateral cooperation and exchanges.
Xiao Rong arrived in Moscow on Saturday. Russian President Vladimir Putin met with her in the Kremlin on Monday.
Xiao Rong published the first book about her father in 1993. Its Russian edition was issued in 1995.
