Intermediate People's Court President in Central China Arrested

Li Xiaobo, president of the Intermediate People's Court of Luoyang City in central China's Henan Province, has been arrested for economic crimes.

Li Xiaobo, president of the Intermediate People's Court of Luoyang City in central China's Henan Province, has been arrested for economic crimes.

Officials from the provincial prosecution departmewnt said Tuesday that Li was involved in a series of economic crimes during his tenure, and further investigation was under way.

Li Daomin, president of the Higher People's Court of Henan Province, has appealed to the ongoing Fourth Meeting of the Standing Committee of the Tenth Henan Provincial People's Congress, the provincial legislature, to remove Li Xiaobo from his presidency of the Intermediate People's Court of Luoyang.
