China Names Squad for Women's World Cup

The Chinese Football Association (CFA) on Monday named a 28-player squad to prepare for the women's World Cup to be played in the United States in September.

The Chinese Football Association (CFA) on Monday named a 28-player squad to prepare for the women's World Cup to be played in the United States in September.

Sun Wen, Golden Ball award winner in the last World Cup four years ago, will again captain the side to play her fourth World Cup.

Squad:

Beijing: Li Jie, Ren Liping, Liu Ying, Teng Wei

Shanghai: Sun Wen, Zhao Yan, Gao Hongxia, Pu Wei, Chen Jinyu, Pan Lina, Xie Huilin

Guangdong: Zhao Lihong, Zhou Xiaoxia, Xie Caixia

Liberation Army: Men Jun, Qu Feifei, Bai Jie

Dalian: Han Duan, Bi Yan, Han Wenxia

Hebei: Liu Yali, Wang Liping, Zhang Ouying

Sichuan: Xiao Zhen

Jiangsu: Yu Weimin

Shandong: Gao Yingying

Henan: Fan Yunjie
