Last Beijing SARS Patients Recover: Official

The last 12 SARS patients have all recovered from the disease in China's capital, Beijing, said Liang Wannian, deputy director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Health.

The last 12 SARS patients have all recovered from the disease in China's capital, Beijing, said Liang Wannian, deputy director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Health.

The 12, who had been confirmed as having SARS, had no more symptoms and would not infect anyone in close contact with them, Liang said Monday.

Most of the 12 remained in hospital due to complications caused by SARS, he added.
