Typhoon Imbudo Causes Floods, High Tides in South China

The water level at Bobai hydrological station on the Nanliu River in Guangxi reached 50.21 meters at 4:30 a.m. Friday, 0.71 meters higher than the warning mark, affected by typhoon Imbudo.
Also influenced by the typhoon, tide heights at major tide observation stations along the coastal area of south China's Guangdong Province all exceeded the warning levels.
Meanwhile, the third flood crest of the flooding Huaihe River has passed through the middle reaches of the river and is now roaring towards its lower reaches, according to the Ministry of Water Resources.
By Thursday evening, there were still 882,400 people fighting floods along the Huaihe River, 51,700 people less than the previous day.
