Economic Cooperation Symposium Set for Beijing
The seventh symposium on economic cooperation between Beijing and Hong Kong will be held in Beijing in late October this year.

The seventh symposium on economic cooperation between
Beijing
and
Hong Kong
will be held in Beijing in late October this year.
The symposium will feature the theme of complementing each other's advantages and achieving prosperity together, according to the organizers.
Officials from Hong Kong and Beijing will be invited to give key-note speeches. Workshops on tendering for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games facilities, policies for investing in Hong Kong, financial development in Beijing, tourism development in both places, cooperation in law firms, and commercial promotion activities will also be held.
A total of 285 cooperative agreements were signed in the previous six symposiums, which involved 12.982 billion US dollars in the agreement contracts.
