Chinese Mainland Reports no new SARS Cases

The Chinese Ministry of Health Saturday reported neither new severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) cases nor new deaths from the disease on the Chinese mainland for the 24 hours from 10:00 a.m. July 11 to 10:00 a.m. July 12.

The Chinese Ministry of Health Saturday reported neither new severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) cases nor new deaths from the disease on the Chinese mainland for the 24 hours from 10:00 a.m. July 11 to 10:00 a.m. July 12.

During the past 24 hours, the Chinese mainland reported no new suspected SARS cases, either.

As of 10:00 a.m. July 12, the number of SARS patients hospitalized on the Chinese mainland dropped to 18, all of them inBeijing,

There is now only one suspected SARS patient on the Chinese mainland, who is in south China's Guangdong Province.
