44 People Killed in Suicide Attack in Pakistan

At least 44 people were killed and 65 injured in a suicide attack on a Shi'ite Muslim mosque in the city of Quetta, southwestern Pakistani, on Friday, the country's leading private emergency service said.

Gunmen fired at worshippers at mosque in the center of the city before at least one suicide bomber blew himself up, witness said.

44 people were killed and 65 injured, according to Reuters' report. Earlier, Pakistani officials put the death toll at 32, but said this could rise.
