NE China City Launches on-line Fair to Attract Investment

An on-line fair was launched Wednesday morning for attracting investment to Changchun, capital of Jilin Province in northeast China, in the local authority's first use of the Internet to draw investors.

An on-line fair was launched Wednesday morning for attracting investment to Changchun, capital of Jilin Province in northeast China, in the local authority's first use of the Internet to draw investors.

The fair's website, at http://invest.changchun.gov.cn, will offer details of the event, which will last 10 days.

More than 1,000 projects, 670 locally-made products, and 800 local enterprises seeking investment and cooperation are listed online.

So far, 74 commercial organizations and enterprises from 28 countries and regions have shown interest in investing in Changchun.
